FRANCAIS:
Ali est enseignant à l'École nationale de cirque de Montréal depuis 2019. Il y intervient dans les programmes PFS, CES et DEC, avec une spécialisation en disciplines aériennes, plus particulièrement le tissu aérien et la corde lisse. Depuis son arrivée à l'école, il contribue également à l'encadrement des spectacles de fin d'année pour ces programmes.  

En parallèle, Ali s'investit dans la communauté ballroom 2SLGBTQUIA+ depuis 2018. Il est Father de la House of Old Navy à Montréal, cofondateur de Ballroom for Community, et organisateur de Bring it! (un mini-ball bi-mensuel). Son parcours artistique s'étend également à la danse, avec notamment la pièce *SACRER*, présentée à l'Agora de la Danse en 2022. Ali continue à nourrir ses pratiques artistiques tout en s'impliquant activement dans la communauté Ballroom de Montréal.  

ENGLISH
Ali has been a teacher at the National Circus School of Montreal since 2019. He works in the PFS, CES, and DEC programs, specializing in aerial disciplines, particularly aerial silks and corde lisse. Since joining the school, he has also contributed to the supervision of year-end shows for these programs.  

In parallel, Ali has been involved in the 2SLGBTQUIA+ ballroom community since 2018. He is the Father of the House of Old Navy in Montreal, co-founder of Ballroom for Community, and organizer of *Bring it!* (a bi-monthly mini-ball). His artistic journey also extends to dance, notably through the piece *SACRER*, presented at the Agora de la Danse in 2022. Ali continues to nurture his artistic practices while actively engaging with Montreal's ballroom community.  

Livia has been dancing for most of her life, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Contemporary Dance at Concordia University in 2002.  She danced professionally for many years for several Montreal dance companies. 

She was introduced to aerial silks in 2006 where she practiced with seasoned circus professionals at the Caserne 18-30. In 2011 she taught aerial silks at Cherry Blossom, introducing the art to the Ottawa scene. With new studies on the horizon, she passed on the torch in 2012 to her student, Melissa Landry, who proudly carried the art to new levels by founding Aerial Antics and forming part of Cirquonscient. 

Livia continues to dance while dappling in aerials and drag; finding joy where all art forms intersect.

Artiste de cirque de 2ème génération, Chloé débute sa carrière circassienne en 2001 auprès de son père. Ses multiples formations en cirque, danse, gymnastique et jeu d’actrice l’amènent à performer autant au Québec qu’à l’internationale, notamment en roue allemande, tissu aérien, cerceau, roue cyr et personnage clownesque. 

En parallèle à sa carrière d’artiste, Chloé travaille dans de multiples écoles et organisations de cirque contemporain et social depuis 2011. Elle y enseigne la roue allemande, l’acrobatie au sol, du tissu, du cerceau, de la roue cyr et de plusieurs autres disciplines. Elle  En 2021, elle obtient son diplôme de Formatrice en Arts du Cirque de l’École Nationale de Cirque de Montréal. Elle enseigne maintenant à la Formation Supérieure de l’École de Cirque de Québec. Chloé est en recherche perpétuelle de nouvelles expériences pour peaufiner ses connaissances et pousser ses élèves au maximum de leur potentiel, dans une approche humaine et inclusive.

ENGLISH

A 2nd generation circus artist, Chloé began her circus career in 2001 alongside her father. Her multiple trainings in circus, dance, gymnastics and acting have led her to perform both in Quebec and internationally, notably on German wheel, aerial silks, hoop, Cyr wheel and clown character. 

In parallel with her career as an artist, Chloé has worked in multiple contemporary and social circus schools and organizations since 2011. She teaches German wheel, floor acrobatics, silks, hoop, Cyr wheel and several other disciplines. She In 2021, she obtained her Circus Arts Trainer diploma from the École Nationale de Cirque de Montréal. She now teaches at the Formation Supérieure de l’École de Cirque de Québec. Chloé is constantly looking for new experiences to refine her knowledge and push her students to their maximum potential, in a human and inclusive approach.
